Well, let me put your mind at ease.
1. He did not top 8 with this pool.
2. I had the pool in front of me or I would say the same.
However, a big part of this is that I think the pool is reasonably deep and can accommodate for a lot of different strategies, and has bombs in multiple colors.
Additionally, I saw with my own eyes someone open a pack of Mox Opal + Foil Venser, the Sojourner in a draft.
That really changes how you see pools that are nuts.
My pool was better.
Also very difficult to hack a PTQ where pools are randomly redistributed after registration.
