Kmaster's Standard Singleton Deluxe Edition Part 2: The Rampdrazi Hurricane

So after tuning and testing, I was ready with my final decklist for the Standard Singleton Weekend Challenge. I felt confident that my decklist was way ahead of the metagame and I could win the whole thing. Time to put up or shut up.

This will be part one of a two part article about my recent win in the Standard Singleton Weekend Challenge. This is a Premier Event held every weekend, with first place being 30 ROE packs. I will discuss the format in detail so don't worry if you've never heard of it before. In the first portion I will discuss how I designed the deck as well as my general deckbuilding philosophy. The second portion will be my tournament report with insights into game play and a few illustrative screenshots. Let's go!

Matt Draft #4. Now with 100% more Jacob

Sometimes you're just in your apartment doing nothing when Jacob offers to ringer a draft with you.

This draft is one I did with fellow Rusty Machete writer Jacob Elkon. As luck would have it, we were seated next to each other. It's a pretty wild ride, strap yourself in. :) Jayelk has posted a companion article to this, so enjoy the 2 birds eye view of the draft!

Matt Draft #3

Haven't run a Rise draft in a while, since I tilted a little after losing 4 straight to my opponent playing t5 drana in at least one of the games.

World Cup and New Extended part deux.

Part 1

First, an amendment to part 1. There is no way that Argentina the third favorites should have been represented by a deck as bad as Boat Brew. I'm going to upgrade them to UWr combo reveillark, a deck that contains a centerpiece, but has a game plan that is actually real and can win by value or by combo.
